Thanks for doing this. I have a copy of the C223T workshop manual supplement. For some reason it’s missing some pages but it had enough info about the engine and IP for me to successfully rebuild one. If that’s something of interest, I can send it to you @lorenzo816

'98 and '99 (posted) are effectively identical. The only difference between the two year models that I know of is the output amperage of the alternator

Here's the C223T excerpt from the '86 Trooper FSM. I wish I had the rest of the FSM or at least this section complete but it's better than nothing and saved my butt

I have a 94 Amigo manual that I can try to get scanned at some point

get this full manual for 2000 years...

Troopers and Rodeo/amigo (in order of appearance)- 4845 pages

quote:rodeo / amigo share the same instruction manual ,with details for each differences:hard top, body chassi size...
-manual and auto trans
-engine 6VD1 and X22SE
to complete diesel version XD22DTI and Y22DTI it's quite easy to source a full manual book on ebay or other Euro "craiglist" style website

hope it will help

here si the link, it was to big to upload the PDF :

I missed two pages on the 1990 trooper electrical book.
I'm updating the PDF link now.
Here they are separate if you have already pulled the PDF yourself.

Snagged me a '99 Rodeo from ya, thank you so much for sharing this.

Fwiw, we can archive a copy of the charm.li service guides too, in the event it's out/down/removed (and if you want to have a local copy for yourself to search when you don't have Internet).

Thanks to @paulevans76 here is his very heavily used 1989 Isuzu Trooper V6 Engine Supplement manual. This thing was falling apart as I was scanning it.
Sorry man. My fingerprints, yours and Andrews and God knows who else is all over this thing.

This is great resource for the 2.8 motors. I doubt the 3.1 is that far off too.

adding 1997 Acura SLX - Isuzu Trooper FSM to post #1.
Pulled from the Trader on FB, thanks to Tim Albers for posting.
I forgot I had this one too.

Updated the first post with another fine glorious contribution from John Haley over on the Trader FB group.
Check this OUT!
23 thousand 4 hundred plus pages of second gen sauce.

Trooper, Rodeo, Amigo, Rodeo Sport, VX and AXIOM!

Use the 95 trooper one for the engine and trans AND the entire front end suspension/drivetrain setup. And charm.li for the rest. If I get my hands on a 93-95.5 rodeo manual, I’ll share it.
the 91-92 and maybe even 93 have gm 3.1’s instead of 3.2 isuzu engines

Okay guys need to know which ones you want me to scan and which ones to scan first.
im also waiting on a set of 92/93 trooper books from Ian. This should cover the early second gen Troopers when I get to those, we should have good coverage since we have so many 98+ references.

so from top left to right:
  1. 3.2 3.5 6vd1 6ve1 training manual technician guide
  2. 94-95 security system / keyless entry (rodeo and troopers)
  3. 1996 Obd2 technician guide (rodeo, trooper, oasis, hombre, npr-gas) posted above^^^

and second row left to right:

  1. Mua5 transmission / transfer case posted above^^
  2. 96 rodeo electrical ( I probably wont scan this one. But if someone is having issues, I can share pictures of pages)
  3. 1990-1996 isuzu ABS technician guide - rwd abs, abs and abs2e, absvi, 4wal abs systems)

Okay I started with the mua5 disassembly/reassembly spiral book.
That wasn't fun to reorganize the pages! It was design to flip to one side only and then flip the book over and keep reading the other pages.
So the way it goes now is in order of disassembly, simply page down and read the left side.
For reassembly, you need to read the right side and Page Up from the back of the book (bottom of PDF and scroll up).
You'll see when you open it.

I scanned the 96 obd2 book and will be linking it in the first post shortly.
there some interesting hand written notes on page 49 and elsewhere.
“check for spiderwebs in vent solenoid”
Awesome!

My Son-in-Law's Honda Element has the same issue, sets a code and the Element Owners forum suggests the same solution. I'll have to tear the smog stuff near the tank apart in the Spring when the weather's better, and clean it out.
