and the smaller of the two pitman arm pullers from O'Rielly's and cut off tool and a sledge hammer. its pretty easy after you do the first one

Obviously I didn't have enough to drink on either of my 89's!!! Nothing enjoyable there! Not anything horrible, but "enjoyable" wasn't the first thing to come to mind.

i just did a ball joint flip on mine troop, they were dirty, but still solid, n its got 145xxx on it. if you go to change them, the top ones are easy to pull, bottems will give you the trouble, for the top ones i used a bottle jack to put some pressure between the a arms n "pop" goes the ball joints.

they were sure as **** horrible on my Diesel!!

had to cut the upper in half with a hack saw blade!! and then oxyacetalene the leftover stub out of the nuckle.... and then tear the brake dust cover off as that warped... oh and cut the ABS wires because the bolts heads were sheared...

i'll make the mechanic do it next time
