I managed to lose my manual when I moved. How many quarts of oil does the 12 bolt take? Off an 88 if it is different than modified 12 bolt.

A 12 bolt diff. takes 1.9 quarts of GL-5, (90W in most areas). That's 12 bolts,

on the ring gear, up through '97. I believe the modified 12 bolt came out in

'98.
