saw a sahara (or some soft top jeep thinger) with a hi-jack mounted on his roll bar. looked sweet!

anyone have experience with this? not sure how the dimensions of jeep and amigo cages align, but its a sweet look with the top down.

Funny you mention this I just built one of these for my buddies jeep. Used 1/4" steel and bought chrome u brackets from ace hardware. Cut the steel down to size and put the jack up to the roll bar and marked the angles to weld the steel then welded and drilled holes to run the u brackets through. Wasn't to hard and I think we spent $15.00.

I was hoping to by a Reese farm jack to save a few bucks, and the holes in the base are difference than a hi-lift.

worst issue I can think of is:
It will be a beotch getting stuff in and out of the Amigo...soft top 2nd gens know what I'm talking about...main reason the wife wants a hard top,better access into the rear of Amigo
