Keep getting the same P0123 code on my '96 Trooper. I've had the TPS replaced a couple times. Just got a P1860 code yesterday. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

P1860 is an electrical failure involving the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid.

P0123 is TP sensor output voltage too high. Since you have replaced the sensor, the problem is most likely an open circuit in the TP sensor +5 VDC Return (Sensor Ground) which causes the output to be +5 VDC regardless of the position of the throttle plate. Check for a broken wire in the connector

thanks for responding. i was told it could be my alternator, it drops below 12V when i'm driving. could that make those lights come on?

I don't think either of these problems are related to your alternator problem. However, if your alternator is not putting out 14.5 VDC at idle it needs to be repaired.
