My engine keeps dying if im just idling or when I slow down to turn or stop and I have to to put it in neutral to start it again and if I don't hit the throttle right aways it dies again. At speeds below 45 to 55mph it sputters and my rpms fluctuate but when im going 55 and above no problems.

Might be a alternator charging issue. Put a volt meter on the battery and try and see what the voltage is at low rpm before it dies. Should be around 13. Then rev it up at high rpm and check the voltage.

I had a 74 bmw the did the same thing at low rpms. It would run above 3000 rpms but would die at lower rpms. It was the alternator.
When was the last time the spark plugs were charged?

All symptoms of; worn out spark plugs, faulty MAF sensor, sticking IAC, dirty throttle body, sticking servo & intake leaks.
