Hey guys!

I'm a newbie on this list and am looking for some help for an aftermarket
antenna for my Gen II - '96 Trooper. The dealer price for a replacement
is just so darn high. Would anyone know a source or part number for either a manual or power aftermarket antenna for a Gen II Trooper?

Wire coat hangar... Cheap as chips, and available at most crappy clothes stores.

try autozone or pepboys.
they carry aftermarket-universal antennas

I'm assuming you're not talking about the antennas built into the rear side windows?

Yeah, I got one from Checkers the other day ($5.99) and I'm gonna be mounting it up this weekend. Keep in mind though, as I wasn't paying close attention, the boot of the original is "sloped" and most new ones are not that wasy, so I'll let you know how my istall goes, and whether or not I can re-use some of the parts!
