Went to have my fuel gauge fixed under warranty by Folger Isuzu in Charlotte, NC because I still had ~5-6 gallons when the low fuel level light came on. They SAID they changed the fuel pump (had to wait a week for it to get here), but the same problem remains. I thought I saw someone mention that when his was replaced, they did something to the PCM. Is this part of the fix too? I am going to call them and try to get it replaced again, but need a little more info on the repair method/procedure.
