I took of the front differential side of the front driveshaft off. I now want to reinstall and feel stupid, because I can't get it to go back on. I have tried every angle. Is there a trick, it seems to be too long. Any suggestions?

I dont know if its the same on Troopers but on my Passport it slides...there is a part that allows it to slide back and forth, making it shorter or longer. Once you get it back in put grease in through the zerk fitting...if its the same as Passports/Rodeos

X2 what Ian posted. BY all means grease it and make sure it slides freely back and forth. Some have frozen due to rust / dirt / and mostly neglect.
