Can anybody tell me what size fog light will fit the bumper opening of a 99 Trooper? I want to put some aftermarket lights in there, but not too sure of the size.

I'm in the same boat. I was told by the dealer that the size shoud be
3x5. The wires are already in place, but you need to add a fog light relay
to the box in the engine compartment. I still haven't found out where
the harness is under the dash to tie the switch into..

We installed some "standard size" fogs in my dad's 98 Trooper. They were blazer or whatever the current brand of generic fogs are.

Those or something like them. We bought them at Walmart and they are MUCH better than the factory fogs in my 94 Trooper. The light is much more usable, and is tinted (yellow) for better fog performance.

SWEET! Those are what I'm looking for. How did you guys mount them? Underside od the bumper with screws?

We cut out the factory blanks with a utility knife, then drilled a small hole for the fog light bracket in another section of plastic bumper that was close enough. If it doesn't look like there's enough room on yours, I'll take a picture of how we mounted these.
