I have 2 question. Question 1 what kind of oil or lube should I put on my hi lift jack someone said wd-40 not sure if its ccorrect? Question 2 when useing the lift-mate do you first loosen the bolt slugs then lift or other?? thanks

That was a good read, thanks for posting that up. I have a hi-lift jack that I've never had to use. When I get my Amigo where I want it I may mount it on the roof, but I also usually look at all these rusted up jacks on peoples rigs that they keep there 24/7 and think I may only want it mounted when I'm going on excursions that may require using it. That or get a water proof bag :lol:

Others will argue about this, but I use WD40, to keep moisture out of the works as much as lubrication. And it's not as messy as oil.

I'm not sure what you mean by "bolt slugs"...
