I found this company called neco to put a remanufactured engine in my trooper.
Are these guys any good? Here is the website.

Oh, they will do the entire installation for about 2700 dollars.

which engine do you have?
that price sounds pretty good. but if you have the 2.6, beware of the issue of crappy cylinder heads. the originals are not worth rebuilding like they are on other engines. in the case of the 2.6, the "correct" thing to do is to use a new casting.

2.8L V6............................. although I have heard that the 3.1 bolts right in so I will probably put that engine in if I can...........

for a 2.8L it seems alright. The 2.8L dosent have many problems whith it, GM did a good job whith that motor.
