Come out and support "Team Isuzu" For race for race #4 of 2011. ECORS makes its way back home to the always popular Devil's Playground in Silver Valley, NC. This venue was developed by the Mud Devils but will play host on August 27, 2011 as ECORS makes its way back to its home state of NC. The venue has always been very popular with racers and spectators alike. The venue offers great spectating with very easy access to the rock sections, hills, jumps, and fast straight sections to get your speed fix! The venue is small, at a mere 45 acres, but is laid out very well for great use of the facility for parking, pits, and racing!

Friday night will be the ever-popular Barbie Jeep race starting at 7pm where grown men challenge each other while riding a kid's power wheels toy down a steep hill! It should be fun for everyone! Racing starts on Saturday with the UTVs first, Class A, Class B, then Class C. Awards Ceremony will follow the Class C race later that evening. Primitive camping is available and RVs are welcome but there are no RV hookups. Camping for paid spectators or racers is free for the weekend.

As always, we plan to have a great time at a venu that has hosted more ECORS races than any other. We've grown with this venue and plan to continue to come back as the owner is great to work with and the locals are second to none! If you are coming in from out of town (or even locals), plan to camp as the nightlife at the venue is always entertaining! Plus, hotels are at least 20 minutes away.

Course will utilize the natural lay of the land and existing trails and rock obstacles. Rock obstacles are technical and can get wet and slick after heavy use, so be ready for an ever-changing course! Spectators come out in herds to cheer you guys on and there will be big crowds in high challenge areas as the parking areas are less than 300 yards from most of the good action!

Registration will open July 23. Remember, starting positioin is determined by the order of sign up!

In addition to this being part of the ECORS series, this race will also count as a qualifier race for the end of season ECORS race in Windrock on Nov 5 where you will have a chance for some big $$$ ($10,000!!!). So, current ECORS season members who have raced at least 2 races in 2011 automatically qualify for the Nov 5 race in Windrock. But, if you are not part of the ECORS family of season racers, here is a chance for you to race, qualify, and earn an invitation to the most coveted East Coast race of 2011! This race will give out 5 invites to racers that are not already invited to the Nov 5 race in Windrock! Get your rig together for this race and the Nov 5 race.

Wifes gotta work... so you know I'll be there Saturday morning. Just hope I don't have to go 4 wheeling with the car to find a parking spot.
I was going to be taking my Hyundai up there too... so hopefully I don't have to do any 4wheeling with it either!

Yeah, I was going to say... ! I don't think I'll be camping this time around after last race's mess.
