I guess in a small city with tight roads they can be, but here in the US they would likely be crushed on the roads by our larger vehicles. I would hope their speed is limited, as the video shows what can happen if driving one of them too fast

They are all over here in St. Pete FL. Convertables, vans, pick ups, one guy even has a kei fire truck. They are not cheep.

I don't see this as much different than a Smart Car.
