Me either, that's why I put it on the CL posts instead of it's own, but then these early Gen. one's in this condition (especially diesels) are getting very hard to find anymore.

They certainly are hard to find, eh! That one has turbo and A/C! A bit rough around the edges for almost $14,000. You'd think they'd fix the busted knob on the radio, restore the gearshift pattern inserts on both levers, fix the huge rip in the side of the driver's seat, and spruce up the tatty wheels for that price. But I guess I'm too picky!! 😹

BTW can anyone tell if the connecting rod upgrade has been done to the engine? If not, that's a TD with a ticking time bomb inside of the engine!

Photos of the engine bay are not that good. I even went to the site that has more photos. The usual telltale sign of a 3rd gen rod equipped engine -- an oil recovery tank -- is NOT pictured.

Heck of a package deal, and the PU comes with an extra engine. Nice Snowflakes on the Trooper. Rough around the edges but a lot of potential to get the one you don't want cleaned-up, sell it and recoup much of the total purchase price.

Got a pair of 1990 Isuzu’s. Pickup is a 2.6/manual trans and the Trooper is 2.8v6/ manual trans. Both run and drive. Bought the trooper as parts for the pickup but runs good enough not to tear apart. Drive it almost everyday. Would say both are project. Trucks but would be a good start. Pickup has over 400,000 miles and still runs ok. Comes with extra 2.6 short block. If interested call. Priced at 2500 for the pair or possible trades for ???

It's a great looking vehicle to be sure, but boy howdy, I can think of many better ways to dispose of $30k!
Also, the 16k+ kilometers on the dial don't quite match the 7300 miles on the listing. Speaking of, what's with the complete lack of information? Pretty sure as a free listing you are not charged on the word count!
