The second one, as said "MEH". It's just another pickup. It does seem to have a really long bed. It might / probably has super low miles, but at the end of the day it's a $3,000 , thirty three year old pickup. Dennis

Nice looking Trooper with a blown head gasket. Looks like the poster redacted a mention that the engine was rebuilt recently.
I don't even mind the camper bed in the back, looks well done!

This could be an excellent project for someone. Either the belt tensioner is making noise, or a conn rod bearing went Buh-Bye.
Easy fix if the former, Not-So-Easy the latter. But hey, it has Low Miles (115K), even if it is an automatic!
Has a hard top, too. That's worth some Buck$ in itself. So is the fact that it's from Rust-Free PNW!! :twisted:

2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport
Awesome vehicle. Needs repairs.
By far my favorite vehicle I have ever owned. I purchased it in June of 2020 from a guy who claimed to take good care of it. The vehicle lasted me through the summer and proved to be capable, fun, great to drive, and a bit of a head-turner. It never gave any signs of having any issues. The 4WD was always easy going. It was produced capable of shifting into 4WD high while going up to 60MPH! The ability to open it up to the great Northwest outdoors was great, and I had a hard time not driving everywhere with the top and windows down. Despite the intricate suspension setup and the fact that it is a 5-seater SUV, it only weighs around 3,200lbs; and, it can still tow around 4,500lbs. The vehicle was a pioneer in the offroading world, and it even was the frame of Isuzu's offroad race vehicles during that time period. The vehicle always put a smile on my face, and it had the same affect on anyone I drove past!!! The engine went bad immediately after driving it one night, and unfortunately, I could not follow up with the original owner. The car comes with several OEM accessories and two sets of keys.

Isuzu Elf camper. There was one for sale here in the Tampa Bay area a few weeks ago for around 25K. JDM import (as most of them are). Kind of looking at motorhomes, I was actually starting to get interested, then I found out that if you are over 5 foot 5, you won't have headroom. A person posted on a motorhome website that her 5'5" husband was hitting his head on th eshower ceiling when they tried one out. I'm 6'4"

I scan Craigslist when I can always looking for the perfect donor vehicle to keep the wifes 2001 Trooper alive for her.
Patiently waiting for something in my area for a 1998 to 2002 Trooper with a 5 speed to convert her ailing automatic .
I ran across this as it seems a good deal for someone looking for a 5 speed donor swap if you are close to it.

Not running, but clean Gen I Troopers are getting harder and harder to find. This one looks like it'd make an excellent project. Plus it comes with a new clutch in the box and other parts.

Not running just died on me while I was driving I was getting code from the obd1 for the map censor I think it has to do with the vacuum lines I already replaced the map censor. 5 speed manual transmission still was shifting well when it stopped running but it also comes with an entire clutch replacement kit and timing kit both brand new as shown in photos all gauges work and all instrument lights work I replaced them all with led lights because they were so dim newer battery recently done fuel filter air filter and ngk spark plugs and wires and cap and rotor interior very clean minus the floor in the front of the car i cut the carpet out carpet still intact in back seat area and storage area Message for more questions or make me an offer
