Been getting a clunking like noise from the rear end. Mainly when I turn corners so I pulled the wheel and jacked up the rear end today. Couple things it could be and need some advice. I have quite a bit of movement in the carrier bearing. Here are some pictures of me pushing it all the way up and pulling it down... Hard to see but it moves probably at least a half inch in both directions:





Also my leaf spring bushings aren't looking too hot so I'm guessing that's the main culprit. But my leafs aren't exactly aligned with each other. Is that a big deal? More pictures:

Yes, you need new bushings.

I had the same problem. new bushings= no clunk
