Tonight I was heading home from the RC track crusing along at 35 MPH, and I noticed it flick on.

As soon as I pulled up to a light and brought the RPMs back down to idle, the light went off.

I'm about 800 miles from the next oil change, and the oil level is fine. 102k on the clock. 02 sensors have never been replaced, could this be the culprit?

What could be causing this? I'm sure there are a variety of possible issues, but the symptoms I described can't be the same for everything. :?

check your gas cap, and head to an autozone to have the codes read.

On earlier models, if the CE light was on while driving and off when you get your foot off of the gas, it meant that the EGR valve was getting clogged. Go have the codes read and see what they say.

Well, the EGR valve actually needs to be replaced, so that could be the culprit.
