I get a check engine light sporadically, and the vehicle seems to hesitate and has a slight lose of power but not turning off. if i let off the cas edal it goes off.
it also runs very hard and has a feeling like i have to push the gas pedal al the way in and it is working very hard to go.

Any ideas? i have not had the code read yet. i did replace the fuel filter. could it be the O2 or fuel injectors?

Sounds a lot like a fuel pump going bad to me. Have your fuel pressure checked if the codes are read and don't point you in any particular direction.

Thanks Joe i will have that checked out. i bought the vehicle used and have no idea about the maintenance. it felt like a fuel thing more than o2 that is why i changed the filter. thanks again
