How do you get the black plastic surround off? That's the first issue.
Sorry I didn't chime in sooner...
lower your ash tray. Grip it with thumb and forefinger on the sides and lift up...Yup, the ash tray comes out! heheheh...took a while for some of us to figure that out. now, there is a screw back behind the ashtray...make quick work of that, then grab the lower part of the ashtray and yank backwards. the whole black trim ring comes out. four bolts to take out the radio brackets, and two screws on each side of the radio. Screw the new radio into this bracket and wire up your Metra Harness.
Install is the reverse.
