So at first, the light came on. checked it at my school and came up with P0440- Evap system fault or something. Then a few days ago, i took off from a stop a little hard and suddenly the truck high reved and squawked the tires like the trans was slipping. made it thru the rest of the gears fine. if i baby it off the line, no problems. i havent had the time to get under it yet but ive heard i could have a vacuum leak going to the trans thats causing it. just wondering if maybe this leak is the cel since it said something about a vacuum leak in the code diagnosis?

p0440, has nothing to do with your tranny sliping, you have an slow evap leak, and a tranny problem.
