Does anyone have any pictures of their CB placement in their 98 Rodeo or simliar? I'm looking to put it under the stereo, by utilizing that pocket that is under the stereo. If anyone has any information/pictures on this, that would be great!

Thanks.

I used one of the Cobra 75's. No real mounting required.

Oh, wait...are the 75s the radios that are the all-in-handset systems?

Do those work pretty well?

The cobra 75 is the one that's all in the hand held mic. All I did was mount a mic hanger and hook some wires up.

The reception has everything to do with the quality of your antenna setup. My reception is just as good or better than others running full size units.

I get out just as good too. This is with a very small 2' firstick II.

cool. that makes we awant to dump the bulky radio i have...

i was looking for a place to mount it..under th radio looks to be the best place, as long as the depth isn't an issue.

It took me some time to get used to the larger mic. But yes it is very handy to not have a "box" to mount somewhere.
