Has anyone installed a non stock bucket seat in an Amigo.
OR
Does anyone know of a source for the foam side bolsters on
a '92's bucket?
The shape and size for me is fine...they are just kinda funky on the outside edge.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My driver bucket is broken down to the point I have to sit on rolled up cloth when I drive any distance or my back starts hurting. I can't help you out, but I can watch this thread.

I have a nice bucket seat:

But seriously, I know alot of folks have swapped out their Isuzu seats for ones from a newer model, from what I understand many of them will bolt right up. I have a 1st gen Trooper and I have seats from a 99 Volvo:

With a little fabrication and time anything is possible. Good luck!

There was a write up posted here a couple of years ago on swapping seats from a different model into an Amigo. I searched but could not find it. As I remember, the guy who did it made a simple adapter that bolted to the existing seat mounts and the new seats bolted to that. I think that all he did was cut some angle iron to bolt to the floor, then attached the seats to that.

Anything is doable if you have the tools, the know how, and the time.

Rodeos and Amigo's are almost the same trucks. So seats from a Rodeo should bolt directly to the Amigo mounts. If not it should be really easy to fab a new mount. Even with my limited abilities I could do it knowing that I once mounted a pair of Rambler reclining buckets into a 63 Chevy Impala.

My current seats came out of a '95 Rodeo. That is a direct swap, no mods needed. I am hoping some other direct swap options will arise from this discussion.
