The Brake lights are staying on after I turn off the Rodeo. I noticed this after replacing the fuse. But now the rear view mirror lights don't work with that fuse in. I took it out because I can't just leave the brake lights engaged.

I'm thinking I need new dual filament bulbs and possibly replace the switch for the brake pedal?

This may have started after plugging in my trailer the other day and I didn't notice until today. Just when I thought I was done working on the Isuzu.

My bet is the brake light switch. Start by making sure the pedal is pressing the switch when released. If it is, try disconnecting the switch and check that the brake lights go out.

The problem turned out to be a bad brake light switch. It wasn't hard to swap out.

That didn't fix the interior rearview mirror light issue. Which fixed itself on it's own today for some weird reason.
