Hey everyone..

I have a 2001 Rodeo Sport. I've been having problems with the passenger side brake dragging a bit. I just recently replaced pads and rotors and while I had it apart I regreased the caliper pins. Is there something that commonly becomes an issue with these or anything I should look at? The pedal is firm and the vehicle seems to stop fine. I also Just repacked the wheel bearings. Any ideas?

Also, If you break the little gear/sprocket looking ring on the back side of the front rotors that doesn't seem to do anything........replace it. Looks can be decieving.

It is possible the caliper hose is defective and will allow fluid under pressure to operate the piston. But when the pressure is removed the piston cannot retract properly because there is still some pressure in the hose. It is also possible that the piston is sticking in the caliper bore.
