That's my family and I embarking on a cross country trek in our new (to us) Trooper. We drove, with a number of planned sight seeing stops along the way, from California to Tennessee over the course of a week and had only very minor issues along the way, which is an impressive feat and attests to Vlad's excellent maintenance of the vehicle. I plan to carry on the torch here and continue updates as repairs/upgrades are made. First order of business is replacing the front drive shaft where the rubber boot has disintegrated due to friction resulting from the increased angle after the vehicle was lifted. I'm currently researching options for replacement. Hopefully, I'll have my first update soon.
Last trip out to uwharrie a spring dislocated. It bounced against the frame and made a sound like a shotgun. Went to a local fabrication shop and they fabricated some cones. Here's a couple of pictures.
