Ok, so the price difference is almost nothing on these 2 tires for me. So the question to be asked is:

285-75-16 BFGs or Dueller Revos?

I'm leaning toward the BFGs cause I've heard they wear like Iron, and grip well too. Usually the comment is "Too expensive" so since that isn't a factor here I want opinions!

Depending on shipping I could make you a heckuva deal on some BFG's. Had a new set on my '93 RS for about 500 - 700 miles before I got my VehiCROSS which has 18" wheels. So they're sitting in my garage looking for something to do, which means find a home for 'em or get a set of 16" wheels for the VX.

Well, they are still more expensive by about $14/tire for that size still. Plus Bridgestone has a special that you get a cheapo color tv if you buy four tires!

So far the REVOs are holding up so I'm still leaning that way.

Good Luck,
Con

P.S. That's one big tire. Better get that supercharger! ;)

First of all: LMAO!
I almost spit Diet Pepsi all over the place when I read that first part...
Dunno why, but it struck as 'way better than your average' funny.

So Con, what's the story, man? --- You're not gonna bring your Trooper?

^^^ (Sorry, it's just a little habit I picked-up... somewhere.)

Mike,

Not to muddy the waters any, but have you looked at Cooper Discoverer STs (or STTs) ???

There are some mighty good prices to be found on them out there... And if you think the BFGs are long-lasting...

I've got a set of STTs on mine, and even after a couple of trips to Uwharrie, and all of the lead-footed apex-hunting I've done in the mountains around here for the last 6-or-so-months, I can't even see evidence that I need to rotate them!

Just a thought.

These are stock size tires, and I apologize 'cause I thought they were bigger. Almost new (only about 600 miles) B. F. Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A size 235/70R-16. I had these on my '93 RS right before I got the VehiCROSS. And yes, I'm going to Uwharrie!

I think Mike was making small talk and knows I'm going already.....

I'm sick of driving so I figure I would be shotgun.... :) Plus I just got it back from the dealer as I was having starting problems. Appears I got some bad gas maybe and causing my problems. Fuel filter and the injector "cleaning"(cleaning my wallet or else) did the trick for now.

Hmm yeah the 235s are too small for me :(

Coopers I can't get a deal through tirerack on so they are out.

Looks like it's gonna be the revos more and more.

Good luck on those tires!
