Anyone in Az wanna start a group? Would dig hanging with other old trooper enthusiasts. I have an 88' 2.6 we just rebuilt. Board a full millimeter and installed 3 ring performance pistons. I love this old rig, and keep on dropping money in her!

I'm in the east Phoenix valley. got an 89 trooper 2.6 5pseed. I'd be interested in a gathering of troopers/Isuzus if we could find a handful of people to join in too.

I'm also in the east Valley and would love to do some runs/meetups. Last February we turned around when we got these good views of the "first lake visit" in the link below. I've been itching to get back try the full loop.

Here's the track we followed:

Our turn around point (Weavers Needle in there too):

Sweet! I'm currently in N. Snobsdale, but this house is selling, and I'll be spending a ton of time at my off grid spot in the white mountains. You folks want to email me your info? I'll give ya my number over there. [email protected]

That saguaro lake trail seems really fun! I'm new to trooper ownership, and have never done any 4x4 offroading. Currently, my trooper is not registered because it won't pass emissions. I hope to get that sorted soon enough though. It would sure be cool to get an Isuzu convoy on that trail and show up the Jeep crowd haha
