I have searched on this and realize that most of you swear by the OEM alternator, however I don't have 379.00 to buy one. Is there an aftermarket one that I can put in that will do as good of job? What do I need to look for when I shop for one?

I got my replacement at NAPA for 120. I've had no problems with it at all.

Have them test it before you leave the store.

Awesome, that is alot better than the dealer price. Do you happen to know what brand that was?

No, but I do know I've always had better luck with Napa stuff as opposed to Advance and Autozone stuff. Especially when it comes to starters and alternators.
