I finally got the new head and everything put back together on my 85 trooper this morning and finally got to fire it back up.I did the 20 minute run like I was supposed to and now I'm ready to check and adjust the valves. How exactly do I do it? I've got a pretty good idea I just don't know the exact procedure for it. One thing I did notice was the engine was alot louder than before. It sounds like the usual tick I had before but alot louder. I'm getting good oil supply to the head for sure. Could this be because the valves aren't right?

Just don't forget to take the 1/2" ratchet off before you start it.
