I got work done on my 98 Rodeo. The axels and CV boots had to be replaced.. And My 4WD light is flashing. The 4 wheel drive is NOT on. PLEASE HELP. How to I turn it off??? It's making me nervous.. ha ha

Take your truck and put it in N. Then push the 4wd button and see if it will go into 4wd. The light should go on soild. If this doesn't happen read this:

If it indead goes in and out of 4wd but the light keeps flashing then you likely need a new 4wd control module, atleast that's what I needed when mine did that.

Yah, the light goes on solid, which means the 4WD is working. But why is the light flashing? Maybe when the worked on the axel they messed with some type of sensor?
