Advice needed on rust spot around 1998 Acura SLX (Trooper) moon roof.... anyohe else had this problem? Should I take it to a bodyshop?

sure they're the ones to know. i've got some rust in a spot on each side of my windshield. the diagnosis is you got to take it all out if you want it to last. right down to where there is no more rust, whether that means just grinding it off, or cutting the whole section out and 'rebuilding' the area. whatever it takes. if you fiberglass it and there's *any* rust, it will of course keep growing.

take it to several places and judge what you hear to your questions. i've discovered there are body shops and then there are body shops. go to enough of them and it doesn't take long to sense who going to do the best work, mostly the price is an indicator, but not always.
