Time to finally make a thread about this, our amigo has been slowly getting worse with it's idling problem. It'll sometimes die when clutching in to a stop, and after revving in neutral it drops down to a bumpy 500-600 rpm before slowly recovering. Another weird behavior is on a completely cold start it goes straight to a quiet 1000 rpm idle, I don't know if it's always done this but I'm used to cars idling higher on a cold start.

About once every few days it'll get a P0304 (cyl 4 misfire detected). I've swapped the plug and coil with cyl 2 and I still get the same code.

Couldn't find any vacuum leaks with spray. I'll put a gauge on it tomorrow. My next guess is intake manifold gasket unless anyone has some ideas

Here's some screenshots from torque, in idle with different throttle positions. Note the fuel trim % at idle.

If I were you I'd replace the intake gasket since it sounds like that to me and swap one of the other fuel injectors with the one for the 4th cylinder. You can test the intake for leaks with a propane source.

Yeah I was planning to swap injectors during the gasket process. I tried giving it a solid tap after reading two separate posts saying it unclogged their injector and fixed their problem, unfortunately didn't work out for me.

Right on for the propane tip, that's definitely more cost effective than using carb cleaner. I've got two of those "free unlimited refills" propane canisters from sports basement

Installed just the upper intake manifold gasket, hoping that was my problem. Installing the lowers seems like it would be 5x more work and I was able to just slide in the upper without removing the fuel rails or the pesky 6mm in the back. It ran okay on my test drive but the numbers in torque are still at 40-50% fuel trim so I don't think anything a chang

Yuck. Oil every where

Double yuck. Can barely fit the carb cleaner red straw through the egr tube.
