I have had my rodeo for about 5 years now and things are needing replacement or upgrade. I have a couple of issues that I have been able to get info on here, but maybe I missed some. One issue that I need help with is my volt meter inside. Whenever I press the gas pedal the volt meter drops to about 12. If I turn the headlights on it will stay between 13 adn 14. But the drop without the headlights on is wierd. I have taken it to the dealer and they tell me nothing is wrong. I beg to differ because the lights and all will dim as well. I installed a 1 farad capacitor for my stereo thinking this might help on the radio end. But the volt meter still drops. I have put in a new battery. I put a new alternator about 3 years ago. Any suggestions?

Isuzu designed the alt to work this way. There isn't anything wrong.

We all hate it as much as you do. I think it is a ridiculous design idea and I would like to find a disable for it. Anyone? Anyone? How do I disable my voltage regulator so that it simply charges constantly.
