May update:

I've acquired a SnapOn MT2500, and it can read the OBD1 sensor data! I'm excited to start hunting down my issues with a proper tool. I drove a manual rental recently, and this has made the issues with my surging and stalling all the more apparent.

I installed a new transfer case plug. It fixed most of the leak. Still hesitantly applying more pressure to it until it stops leaking.

I dropped it by the shop to have them swap the reverse switch into the proper location, and now my reverse lights come on.

I've installed a rear cupholder. I installed a working speedometer from a donor in the yard.

I'm planning to work with a machine shop to reproduce some hard to find metal accessories and parts. Hoping to better equip the community soon.

- Things to Complete the Drivetrain Build:
--- Driveline shunt, which might be Backlash Clunk - I changed the ujoints, and the mounts feel solid, so I'm going to tear into the rear axle to see what's loose. Wish I had money for gearing upgrades or lockers right now.
--- TPS - I think I still have a little delay in my throttle. Going to get a in wire tester to see if the resistance readings are correct.
--- IACV - I swear, I've changed it three times now. It still stalls at lights, even when I'm downshifting I to them. I am considering buying the $100 OEM one from The Acura parts Whole seller.
--- The AC belt needs a little tightening

- Other Mechanical Or non Interior Things
--- There's some play in my steering yet. I think I've maxed out the screw. Going to look into the idler arm and other items before rebuilding the box and column. I've rebuilt everything else at this point. The column doesn't sound too bad.
--- Change the fluids on the transmission, transfer case, and differentials
--- I have a light bar attached to a roof rack that I need to wire in with a plug
--- Reverse Switch

--- Paint Transfer Case Skid Plate
--- Get windshield chips filled
--- Steering alignment
--- Replace hood release cable
--- Replace front right wheel well rubber
--- Replace front right wheel plastic

-Interior Things
--- Rear cupholder
--- Front Driver's pillar grab bars

--- Housing for trunk door lock switch
--- Cut hole is stock rear gate plastic for open handle
--- Install rear stock DC power socket in trunk
--- Troubleshoot driver's seat heater
--- Leather Steering Wheel
--- Fix speedometer
--- Increase blower fan speed
--- Extra outlets

-The Small Upgrades List
--- New Rotors and Brake Pads
--- New Ball Joints

--- Steel brake line
--- Snorkel --> Actively upgrading
--- Grille guard

-The Perfectionist Upgrade List
--- HD Torsion Bars
--- Revo Low Range Gears
--- 4.77 or 5.38 diffs
--- Lockers front and back (preferably e lockers) that g80 should be fine for now
--- Wiper lights --> installed, need to troubleshoot
--- Ismcher Power swaybar disconnect
--- more lights
--- Upgraded speakers
--- Paint and body touch up
--- international stock bull bar
--- Custom bumpers

--- second battery

I'm chasing down my issues using the MT2500. Any idea why the engine won't go into Closed loop when idling? Temperatures look fine.

Late to the party and can't answer your question. However, what do you estimate the weight of that ARB bumper is? Did you check to see the thickness of metal its made from?

Guessing about 150lb. I'm double checking with another bloke that recently installed one.

I could lift it on my own. I'm glad that I had the shop crane for the mounting. No idea on the thickness. Will measure and get back to you.

Cool thanks. I used 3/16 on the sliders and found that to be too heavy. Bumpers will be much lighter I decided.

Did you ever figure out your stalling/surging issue?
Not yet. It's weird. I keep the gas pedal steady, and the rpms will slowly drop, then suddenly it's like the computer, or whatever is not working, catches itself and does a small jolt as it corrects. It also likes to stall when I'm shifting into neutral at lights. I've got a shop manual. There's like 20 different things to look at that could cause this.

June update:

I finally acquired the proper headlight wiper button from Mr Shawn Anthony, and was able to get those working. I cleaned the oil pan and other pieces under the Trooper, and this seemed to fix the oil leaks. I think I may have just been dripping oil that was leftover from when I left a bolt out of the oil pump. My transfer case drain still has a small leak, so I guess I need to crank it down a little more.

I'm noticing that one of my hydraulic lifters gets unhappy after running for a long time when going up hills. I think I will just save up and put all new ones in eventually.

I may update my to do list again, as I've got a few items that are shifting and changing, a most of this list is complete.

I'm planning to work with a machine shop to reproduce some hard to find metal accessories and parts. Hoping to better equip the community soon. If you have any ideas or requests, let me know.

Late July update:

My starter has started some intermittent issues. Sometimes it doesn't turn over unless you hold the key over for 5 to 30 seconds. I just bought the starter in the past year, so I am now troubleshooting it.

I swapped my throttle body for another that I had, and am still having stalling issues. Going to clean the intake manifold, start replacing air lines, do a compression test, and fuel pressure test again.

Redoing the list for mid year 2021:

- Drivetrain Issues:
--- Intermittent starter issue
--- Stalling Issue
--- Sticking Clutch Pedal (doesn't affect driving)

-Interior Things
--- Housing for trunk door lock switch
--- Cut hole is stock rear gate plastic for open handle
--- Troubleshoot driver's seat heater
--- Leather Steering Wheel
--- Increase blower fan speed
--- Extra outlets
--- AC Checkup

-The Small Upgrades List
--- Steel brake line
--- Snorkel --> Actively upgrading
--- Custom Skid Plates
--- Custom Light Guards
--- CB antenna mount

-The Perfectionist Upgrade List
--- HD Torsion Bars
--- Revo Low Range Gears
--- 4.77 or 5.38 diffs
--- Ismcher Power swaybar disconnect
--- more lights
--- Upgraded speakers
--- Paint and body touch up
--- second battery
--- Sound deadening

August update:

I fixed the starter issue. Ended up being a loose nut on the power stud of the starter.

I got a 97 Rodeo throttle body, which holds air much better than the 95 ones I was working with. Hasn't fixed my stalling. My valve covers are leaking, so I'm going to check my timing and re torque the bolts.

I did some troubleshooting and figured out that my driver seat heater is busted. The back shows connection. The break is in the seat. Saving up for a new seat heater replacement.

I put a newer blower fan in from a yard Trooper, and it seems to blow better, but is a tad noisier.

I am planning too make a tray to bolt into the stock airbox mount that would hold a second battery, canister filter, and overflow tank, so that I can run a more direct air line to the snorkel.

- Drivetrain Issues:
