Hey, PlanetIsuzoo:

I've been a long-tome forum watcher/reader and new member.
This is my first HELP! post.

I'm working on restoring a 1994 Rodeo, 3.2l v6, 4x4, auto transmission.
She is doing well and usually starts on the first crank. Idles, when warmed-up, at about 750 rpm
After spending lots of time (and money!), it has one annoying issue left...

When the Rodeo is hot, especially in warm weather, and I take it to run a few errands (5-10 minute drives, engine off, engine start) - When I start the engine it will surge to about 1500 rpms, then drop almost immediately to very low rpms (sometimes the engine will actually die), and then stabilize at 750 rpms and run fine.
If it does die, when I crank it again, it will start (longer cranking) and then run fine.
For this issue, I've cleaned the throttle body, checked the TPS, new intake manifold gaskets.
Any ideas????
Thanks!

turned- those symptoms seem to be similar to what I’m experiencing. The IAC checks out, and I dealt with the sticky throttle cable. Seems like I need to commit and just replace the injectors. Thanks for the input!
