hey everyone, first time on the board, looks like a good source for info

anyways about a month ago i bought a 92 trooper, 3.2L SOHC 5sp

maybe a week later i noticed a buzzing that would occur at lower RPMs but would go away when higher than 1500. the idle also fluctuates a little, usually settling in at about 500 RPM which is a bit rough to say the least. was wondering if anyone could help me out diagnosing any problems. thanks all

The idle problem sounds like a vacuum leak... but not the IMG (intake manifold gasket) leak that later years had problems with. The buzzing may be as simple as a leak in the exhaust flex pipe under the transmission.
