Hey, new to the forum and after searching for any prior posts I am sending out a request for help. I swapped out the timing chain, chain guide, and gears this week. The engine cranks steadily but doesn't fire. Any ideas of where to go from here?

Hi, did you check for spark out of the coil? It's also possible you may have gotten the timing alignment off or out of whack with the distributor.

A few years back I replaced the busted timing set on my Trooper 2.8 LS (now a 3.4) and afterwards I did a comprehensive writeup on the job while it was still fresh in my head.

I could e-mail you a copy of the writeup so you can "compare notes" to what you did on yours; maybe it'll bring up a solution.
