I converted my 91 to power windows with a kit. I found that even though it didnt have power windows, it did have some of the wiring. In 91 at least, the windows were wired through individual harnesses that had connectors located under either side of the dash. One under the drivers side and one below the glove box area. Seem like I recall the passenger side having maybe four fairly heavy gauge wires and the drivers side having quite a few more. On your 90, follow the wires from the doors back into the inside (they should feed in somewhere above the speaker area) find those connectors, then see if the 88 has them too. I wired my window into the exixting harness. Either way, if you don't have those connections in the 88, you'll need a good wiring diagram if you want to rewire them in. It's not insurmountable, just tricky.
