will this work and will the 4wd components from the trooper fit the amigo?
86 trooper 2.3 into 90 amigo

How much of the 4wd components do you mean? The Rodeo/Passports are very similar to the Amigos but the Troopers are a bit different.

well my amigo is 2wd and the trooper is 4wd I want to traverse this, if at all possible

Bolt on no, custom fab maybe but not worth it. It's really not even worth it to convert a 2wd Amigo to a 4wd with the parts off a 4wd Amigo and that's bolt on stuff.

It would be if you can get a parts car for cheap and have everything you need to make the swap. Some people have invested a lot into their cars and selling it to buy another isn't the best option if the can just upgrade the one they have.
It depends if you can do it yourself or if you have to pay someone to do it.
