i currently have a 95 trooper, 3.2L with auto trans running factory 4.56 ratio and was wondering if i'll have power issues running this tire over 265/75/16 treadwright guard dogs.. based on specs 33" will only be half inch larger over 32" (32.7 vs 32.2)..

any comments are open... thanks in advance!

Thats what I run and I think it is the perfect size. I am at 2500 RPM at 100KPH (60MPH) on the Freeway. No power issues at all. My engine would be very similar in power to your 3.2L. Your truck may be a bit heavier though.

im out here in san diego, ca... i didnt notice any difference with 31" BFG.. i figure it would be 2 inches taller, same width... but it appears that people that have auto trans do not go past 32" OAH

I put some 33x10.50s on my 97 with an auto. I didn't notice much power loss at all. I think it looks great!

I would definitely add a tranny cooler. Pushing bigger tires will heat that tranny up. It's just good insurance IMO

That looks good Chris. Makes me want to throw my snowflakes and some 33's on my green Trooper. 1995_trooper, I ran 33x10.50 tires on my old 92 Trooper for awhile (got those tires from TrooperChris btw). There was a slight loss of power and pick up when compared to stock tires, obviously, but not enough to make a big difference.
