hey everyone,

I just purchased a 2000 Rodeo LSE in December (Very pleased with it BTW)... I bought it at 60k kms and have now put on about 73k kms. I have no maintenance history on the vehicle so I was just wondering what should be replaced at this time. The vehicle was missing the user manual.

I'm planning to change the serpentine belt, timing belt, as well as the spark plugs. Is there anything else i should be replacing? At this time theres nothing wrong with the vehicle. Should I be replacing these parts soon or should I wait for the 80k mark?

oh yea and the transmission flush as well will be done soon.

Clean your egr valve and tubing. Change your pcv valve and clean hoses
Clean your throttle body. Change your fuel filter. Keep up with regular oil changes. Clean your ashtray. Change the smiley face car deoderizer hanging from the mirror. Get rid of the empty coffee cups.

I would ask the person you got it from where the serviced it at. A lot of places keep a record of the maintanence, and can print out a copy for you .

if you can't find out what he did , the last critical stuff is:

Change front and rear axle oil (48k , then every 48k after )
Change transfer case oil " (4wd )
Change Engine Coolant "
Clean radiator CORE AND A/C condenser "
change air cleaner "

check shift on the fly gear fluid level (every 24k) - my dealer seemed to
be clueless on this one ...
