Hello all, my brother has a 2000 Honda Passport LX with 91k miles. Just yesterday, he was driving in his yard to move some stuff out of his basement. After putting the passport in 4wd high (so he would not spin), the ABS and SRS lights kicked on. Now, the power windows, signal lights, AC and Fan don't work. Also the car is still stuck in 4wd as if the switch no longer works. Do guys have any idea what may have went wrong?

Anyone wanna make bets that its the alternator?

Very common symptoms of a dead/dying alt. Fan motor not working along with idiot lights lighting up is a classic symptom on these. Losts of posts about that on the board.

Yeah check the battery and see if it's showing above 12 volts with the truck off. Then start it and check the battery voltage again. It should be upwards of 14 volts.

Now turn a few high draw items on and see if it stays around 14.
