in my 88 There seems to be 2 fuel pressure regulators,
one in front of the intake manifold

and another one on top of the fender well (which I have no pic)

as far as Im concerned only one is needed right?
or is it another "unique" part of the I-TEC?

Most '88s had one on the fender. later years and pups had the one on the front of the intake. You are in CA for who knows with CA spec.

hmm ok that makes sence now...this 2.6 came out of an 89 amigo which explains the pressure regulator in front of the intake manifold, The truck is an 88 and so that explains the one on the fender well!
I think Ill be fine if I take one off
