Good to see you Americans appreciating the diesel versions of the Isuzu. That one was a bit more expensive than in New Zealand. Looking on http://www.trademe.co.nz, our equivalent of ebay, the same vehicle is about US$3,000. US$5,000 will get you a 90-92 version here.
$5k will get you a 92-97 one here too. My dad's 98 was only $8k 2 years ago. The 92-94s are under $3500 here now. It's a different world in the US, one in which you'd have to sell a kidney to get a 92-94 diesel Trooper though.
For that kind of gas mileage, with the way fuel prices are, I'd buy it, paint it black, and put a huge Silver Fern on the hood! :wink: Oh, to live in the Land of the Long White Cloud... Too bad Ford sponsors the Super 12, uh, 14, or whatever...
