Hi are the factory hardtops removable on a 1995 (jdm) isuzu amigo or did the car have to be sold as a soft top?

There were no factory hardtops on first generation Amigos in the US market.

There was no 1995 Amigo in the US market.

So whatever is on the JDM 1995 Amigo (or Mu?), someone with a JDM model would have to answer that one.

I know Wikipedia isn't always trustworthy, but they say that our Amigo WAS the MU in the Japanese market.

He's asking about the hardtop on the first generation Amigo. Isuzu didn't offer a hardtop on the first generation Amigos. That is, unless the JDM version had one. All hardtops in the US were 1) removable and 2) not original equipment, but aftermarket.

The MU Is a hardtop (steel) version of the Amigo. It’s part of the body not removable.
