Not really. Somebody here in just the last few days was asking about the possibility of an engine swap on an Amigo with this same engine.

That one was 2wd, the 4 banger 4wd 2nd gen amigos are the only Isuzu (so I’ve been told) that came with 4.77 gears in the 10 bolt front and the 44 rear. To my knowledge that’s the only super special thing thing about em. But if you’re trying to go bigger tires (like 35s) and keep ifs, those 4.77s are necessary to properly regear, otherwise you’ll have a dog of a rig. The gears have quite a bit of value to the right person

Well this is probably the best place to sell it, post up some pictures, what the specific engine codes are, and how many miles it has.

It’s one of the most unique configurations of amigo, unfortunately it’s not overly valuable because of the 4 cylinder. If you were to scrap it out you could probably sell the 4.77 gears for $1k alone, they’re rather valuable. Someone should bite on it, just give it some time and give your potential buyers some more information.

The 4.77 gear for the front 10-bolt would bring a lot, but the Dana 44 less so as they are for later Rodeos and Amigos only... the 10-bolt front, 12-bolt rears from the 88-91 Troopers bring crazy money as they work in all 88-97 Troopers. I could certainly see someone dropping 1k on those third members though

I agree with what others said. But you need to do some reading here about that I engine. I won't give my opinion here -- but don't mind sharing objective information. That engine is not from Isuzu, it's a Holden engine. And the transmission is also not Isuzu. So if anybody has one, and wants to do a swap, it gets complicated. If you search the forums here, you can get feel for the opinions about that engine.
