more importantly mileage at 8k??
Automatic transmission. Shifts great. Idk what's up with the odometer. Reading 211,182 now. I was noting mileage every time I refueled. I keep track in a book. Usually gets some Lucas, too. Noticed both the reset one and overall one seemed to stop or not be working correctly. Was at 200,683 about the time I got it running. The reset one worked regular enough to give me an estimate of 200 miles per 20 gallon tank. my roads are mostly rural very changeable speeds between stop and go town and highway. Gets up and goes great on highway. I drive and shift gentle, try to use gears when can to save the relatively new brakes. It was sitting for a year or two. The o rings on the coolant inlet and outlet in the v of the block were shot, so that's fixed. While I had it apart, replaced a lot of little things. I have all parts labels, numbers, noted when work done.

Sorry man. 200k in a 97 auto rodeo is maybe 3-4K tops

I hear ya.
The problem is unless you have rebuilt the engine and every suspension component and can guarantee no rust and have a good-to-great interior, you won't get 8. YOu wouldn't even get 8 for a rodeo/passport if you did all those things. Maybe if you had 33s or 34s and some low gears in the case and did all that, then maybe I can see 6-8k maybe.
But here is the thing. If you did all that to a first gen Trooper, then yeah sure it may command that much money.
How do I know that?
because I have just done just that and sold a 200k Trooper that was immaculately clean and rebuilt the engine and suspension. It went for 6k. Funny one on the west coast identical with half the mileage went for 12k. No joke.
So sad news the rodeos just don't bring that coin in.
GO trade her in - don't junk her. Maybe some highschool kid needs a good ride.

I appreciate you sharing all that. I do understand your points regarding vehicle worth, but really need it regarding this car specifically. So thank you. I really do need to get the most for this, so I will be sharing more what exactly what was done as well as pics, maybe you could help me price it best?

Talon, your car is worth what the dude in front of you with cash is willing to pay and what you are willing to accept, you always ask for more and be willing to accept less (at least I do). The question is how much less and how bad does the dude want it.
