I have a 1995 Isuzu Pickup 2.3liter engine. Upon starting, pickup idles real rough but after engine warms up runs decent. However at stop signs and slowing down starts idling rough again and sometimes dies. Have changed the Oxygen sensor, plugs and fuel filter. anyone have any ideas.

Hey, check for vacuum leaks, also check the Distributor cap and rotor, and make sure that they arent worn too much.

carb problems. You can either bring the idle up abit or the best thing to do is get a weber carb. They are alittle finicky in the winter/cold weather but run nice when properly tuned. As far as the stock one goes, the butterfly shaft bushings wear and the butterflys inside the carb dont open and close properly causing an irratic idle from more/less air to mix with the fuel. Almost all Isuzus ive owned with carbs did this. WEBER fixed them all.
