Can anyone tell me the length of a Bosal #099-3601 catalytic converter? It's the only bolt on OEM type I can find, but I need the length so I don't order one that's too long. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Anyone? I need this answer as well. AutoPartsWarehouse (http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/detai ... 93601.html) says the CAT is 24" long. Well, I just measured the length of my OE CAT and it's 18". I've got a '93 Trooper S, 3.2 SOHC.
17 3/4 IN WITH OUT THE GASKETS 18 IN WITH THE GASKETS
Thank You Jerry! I'm going to go with the Bosal as a replacement CAT. It's the only aftermarket one I can find that has the flanges on it and should bolt directly in.

If there are any opinions on the Bosal, please chime in. Thx!

THE BOSAL, SHOULD BE FINE,, BUT IF THE OLD CAT HAS NOT BEEN GUTTED , DONT TOSS IT OUT , TAKE IT TO A METAL RECYCLER , MOST OF THOSE OLD CATS ARE WORTH BETWEEN 50 AND 100.00 DOLLARS EACH IF THEY ARE INTACT.
